18TH CENTURY HEREFORDSHIRE OAK 30 HOUR LONGCASE CLOCK marked 'Ralph Sayer, Kington', the case with flat moulded hood above square aperture flanked by three quarter turned pillasters, plain rectangular waist door on a panelled base with skirted support. Face has Roman chapter ring and pierced foliate spandrels, single finger. 30 hour movement, strikes on one bell, 10 x 10" dial approx.

Good coloured, well polished face. Case has good colour, split to the base between base boards. The skirted stand is later and the moulded cornice is probably later. A Ralph Sayer recorded in London 1748. Includes pendulum but might not have weight.
